Equipment
- The following is a list of required equipment based on safety and insurance standards set forth by the Canadian Ball Hockey Association (CBHA).
Players must adhere to these equipment regulations or they will not be allowed to play.
LEAGUE DOES NOT SUPPLY EQUIPMENT
- Hockey Helmet
All players must wear CSA approved hockey helmets, and must be in good condition, unaltered, and be fitted properly.
Face Mask (Optional)
Facial protection is optional for Adult Men only, all cages or visors must be CSA approved if used.
- Hockey Gloves
All players must wear CSA approved hockey gloves or CBHA approved D-Gel Zebra gloves. No lacrosse or any other glove will be permitted. Gloves must be in good condition. The use of palmless gloves is permitted. Gloves that have small holes due to use are fine, but no alterations to the palms are permitted.
- Shin Pads
All players have the option to wear light shin guards (e.g. soccer guards or D-Gel ball hockey pads) at all times. No ice hockey shin guards will be permitted.
- Additional Equipment
Protective Cup (Optional)
All players have the option to wear a protective cup at all times.
Hockey Sticks
All players must use ice hockey sticks made of wood or composite material, and must be in good condition without jagged edges. No plastic blades or sticks of any kind will be permitted.
Goalie Equipment
- All Goalies must wear Ice hockey grade pads, chest protector, blocker, trapper, and CSA approved helmet and face mask. No street hockey grade equipment or cats-eye (non-CSA) goalie masks will be permitted.
