Levels of Play
- Players and Teams can join and compete at a variety of levels. Levels are determined for each team based on their competitive interest and experience level, into one of the following listed below:
Tier 1: Extremely competitive with experienced players competing regularly in Provincial and National Tournaments
Tier 2: Very competitive with a mix of veteran players and young potential Tier 1 players gaining experience for future advancement
Tier 3: Competitive with less experienced players. Great starting point for teams who have good skills but need some seasoning before moving up the ranks
Tier 4: Lightly Competitive with a more recreational attitude towards the sport. Players who love the game but just want to have fun or improve their skills, or new teams who are new to hockey and need a place to start out
Tier 5: Very Recreational play. This is a new level created this year to give all teams an opportunity to attend a Provincial Tournament at the appropriate skill level!
